Scooting like a little seal, you are starting to really get yourself around. Up on arms, then bum teepees up in the air, arms inch forward and with a kerplop you scooch across the floor.

Everyone comments on your beautiful blue eyes. I’m not sure why your nose is red though!

It’s bathtime!

Other fond moments: how you smack your lips together and look in my eyes with a big wide smile… dinner time I think you’re saying. Nursing, how you hold my hand, intertwining your little fingers in mine, so small and soft and gentle. Little nails.
Screeching now when you’re frustrated, it’s sudden, like you’ve just discovered this new voice along with these new emotions. You are able now to get the cheerio into your mouth about half the time you try. You have also learned the art of pinching skin just like you do the cheerios.

Sept 13 8 months You’ve figured out how to fanangle a wee cheerios
between your fingers and raise it to your mouth. I have seen a time or
two when you actually succeed in depositing it in your mouth but more
often than not it seems to mysteriously disappear on you — down your
sleeve or into the pocket of your bib or onto the floor. You smack
your lips and look up at me as if you’re confused.

Your giggle is absolutely infectious. Hours of entertainment, just to hear you laugh. This is daddy with you at dinner. GIGGLE!

You love to waive bye-bye and hello too and are getting a good sense
of when to do it even. You’ve figured out it’s usually when we are
near a door I think.

Entertaining friends is one of your popular things. You are very
social and like to play with others, including . Nolan, Katie and
Abigail, as well as little ones at the library.

A new first. As Brittany was leaving yesterday I said “Bye bye” and
you quickly threw your right arm in the air and waved it
